If the location is convenient and you find an instructor whose style suits you it can be worthwhile. While some staff are friendly, some have been downright snooty when I had a question or wanted to pay for a class. The management has changed in the past year, and there is now actually less room allocated to the non-spin classes (although the new staff was nicer.) I'm no expert on Carribean food, but I work in the area and consistently enjoy the roti and the jerk, so I just keep going back. I recommend this place. Was this review helpful? The service is slow and the music is definitely non-descript --think mid-dial radio. The crowd seems relaxed (to the point of snooziness?)and not too inspiring. 	1 out of 1 people found this review helpful. This place seems really popular with the staff from the local retail joints, but my burger and poutine certainly wasn't anything I'd crave again. The taste of the much-vaunted burger was nothing special and poutine gravy was bland. Plus the furnishings were about the same level of cleanness and cuteness as your average Harvey's or Burger King despite the higher prices. I do not recommend this place. Was this review helpful? I haven't tried the framing services, but this spot's definitely worth a visit if you're searching for a gift or a decorations for your home or apartment. I recommend this place. 	0 out of 0 people found this review helpful. I have tried both a shiatsu-and-accupuncture treatment and a straight shiatsu treatment in the School's professional clinic. The location on College is convenient and central, and the facility is clean and pleasant, although it's no spa. The multi-treatment purchase option makes the services very cost effective. Both treatments I had were pleasant and effective. The practitioner's styles were very different -- one was a much lighter touch than the other. But both made it clear that they would respect the patient's preferences for stronger or lighter pressure. I would recommend Mon for a general shiatsu experience and Julian to treat complaints related to high-intensity sport or dance. I recommend this place. Was this review helpful? Smart move: serving your own coffee works well for those who us who interact better with others after we get our caffeine! Hit: hearty vegetarian-with-a-twist version of the English fry-up breakfast. It's a great place to people-watch because it has quite a diverse crowd. I've always found the service great, and the pizzas, pastas and salads are reliably both tasty and substantial. The food can be yummy (i.e. salad with succulent funghi lightly pan-fried in parmesan) but the portions are only moderate in size. My "beef" is that the staff are NOT particularly friendly. The place is so crowded with tables that you're generally standing in a server's way anywhere you step or stand. The crowding also impacts the experience in that it's tough to chat properly in a group of more than two. You can't hear anyone who's not sitting immediately next to you. 	1 out of 3 people found this review helpful. For starters Lush is just way too perfumed for my taste -- you can smell on the sidewalk it when you walk by. Down with scent pollution! I did venture in at one point and bought several products (because I'm a sucker for something new.) The shampoo bars are pretty good, but I had to return a pricey moisturizing hair conditioner that just didn't moisturize. Their marketing is amazing though. I asked them about it and they said they actually get training, are paid fairly and are into what they do, which is awesome. They give out samples, make recommendations and will help you try the products to see if they work for you. The products are pricy, but really high-quality. I recommend this place. Good spot to snack on thin-cut sweet potato fries, salads, or pierogies. Each piece in the store is unique because of the use of vintage clothing, and the shapes and cuts are getting more and more complex and interesting. The downsides are cheek-to-cheek seating (which means that this is not a good place to discuss anything you don't want ten other people to know) and the fact that the servers/owners can be downright snippy.
