Located a hop, skip and a jump away from the Princess of Wales and Royal Alexandra theatres, this restaurant serves up the best lobster and crab bisque soup. It is yummy! From appetizers to main course to desserts, the menu is aimed to tantalize your taste buds. But what really blew me away was the coffee. Our meals were beyond delicious - the spicy seafood stew exploded with flavour, the rack of lamb just melted in your mouth and the cheesecake was so light and fluffy, it's hard to believe it contained calories. 	3 out of 3 people found this review helpful. The InterContinental is overrated. Yes it has a sleek looking exterior and the lobby is screaming high class society. But I wasn't too impressed by the rooms or the service. I've stayed at other hotels at a lower rate with better service and more lavish rooms. However, if you're attending a conference at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre and looking for a hotel closeby, then I would recommend the InterContinental. It's absolutely marvelous to see what kinds of work are displayed at each booth, especially in the Rising Star section. This is where up and comers can display their talents at a fraction of the regular booth cost. I wouldn't say the One of a Kind show is a place for great deals. Some of the exhibitors from past shows include L'Oreal, Campbell's Soup, Conair, Cetaphil, Oil of Olay, Wild Vines, Schick Quattro and more.
