Something happened over the past few years that the friendly welcoming smiles we once knew are gone. One cannot dispute that the food is good but the unfriendliness leaves a bad taste in our mouths. Good food is important but courtesy is more important than the price. So bottom line is if you've gone out partying late at night and want something to eat afterwards and you are too drunk to care how you are treated, Swatow is a place to go. If you want to take your time to enjoy your meal and expect courtesy, look elsewhere. Apparently courtesy is optional for the staff and the establishment. We had similar experience about a year ago. We thought we would try again and give it another chance. We won't be back there again. There are too many other good places to go than have to put up with rude service and arrogance in exchange for a couple of dollars in savings.
