I purchased two lunch combos at Ho Lee Chow on Wed, Oct. 17, 2007 for a little over $15. The combos included chicken fried rice, schezuan beef and an egg roll for $6.95. It was to 'take out' so I brought the food home without first taking a look at it at the restaurant. When I came home to open the lunch, I was shocked and disgusted. The fried rice was made with 1/2 lb of burnt ashes- probably from the scrapping of your burnt pans. All I could taste and smell from the rice was burnt ashes. It not only tasted obviously horrible but is a health hazard also. The schezuan beef consisted of 80% onions, 10% carrots, 5% green peppers and 5% beef. I did not ask for an onion dish. This is was my first time trying Ho Lee Chow and I guarantee you it was my last. It is a disgrace to treat customers like this. I am shocked by the lack of integrity that Ho Lee Chow has. I do not recommend this place. Was this review helpful? Yes | No | Report as Spam |
