Solferino has a nice setup. It's pretty spacious for a gelateria. Their flavour list is large but they don't have all the flavours on it every time. The owners (I think) are this pleasant couple and they bring a nice family feel to the place. A cool place for a date or just to hang out.

Bar Italia has a really no pressure wait staff that gives you lots of time to make your decision. They are super friendly and the service is fast. The menu is pretty much standard Italian food. Portions are good and the dishes taste great. They have a really cool patio out front which is awesome in warm weather.

Food is good and and they have a large menu. Some vegetarian choices but not a whole lot. Plus points are the nice interior and friendly, fast service.
