i don't think i've ever had such incredibly wonderful vegetarian sushi! it really puts most other places to shame. the grilled eggplant,white asparagus, even the simplest avacado roll is amazing! the wait time can be quite long so it is best to order in advance to pick up. (at lunch time due to it's growing popularity, i'd say a half an hour ahead should do it) the salad is always fresh (not sprayed with anything weird like they do in fast food places to keep it crunchy!) even the edamame tasted better than other places! the take out presentation is fit for a king, and most of the counter help people are nice, fast and polite! i eat here every week, now that i've found this place! they have gift certificates too, and they make great presents. when out of friends come to town, we always go up the cn tower to the 360 restaurant. i found that although the prices were 'expensive' (compared to most fine dining establishments, pretty much on par) once the cost of going up the tower is subtracted from the cost of the meal (what is the cost now.$20?per person?) it's like you are paying 'normal' costs of eating out! plus, there's the added bonus of being able to sit and enjoy the full view of toronto and it's surrounding areas. also, i have very specific eating requirements, which when phoned a few days ahead, i was able to have a very long conversation with the head chef, and he shopped and prepared a meal specifically for me. i'm not saying he can do this all the time, but simply the fact that he did it once for me made this experience stand out far above any other 'tourist trap', and brought it back into the realm of a wonderful eating experience! i'm going again in the next two months - more out of town guests arriving! These guys make the best almond croissants, chocolate croissants, or if those sound too sweet for you, the best plain croissants. these products are always made fresh! you can also get some sweet deals on yesterday's leftovers! do yourself a favour and have a tea or a coffee, or even a freshly made hot chocolate with fresh ground belgian chocolate on top! i believe they only accept cash, so maybe best to go to a bank machine first. service with a smile. wotever you need wotever you want ... chances are they will have it, and if not can find it ~ or atleast try and help you find it! lots of neat things you had no idea existed in the retail section of the store...also a huge rental section. need a parka for that trip to the arctic? you don't have to buy one ~ believe it or not, you can rent one! although, if you were to buy one, it would be the best parka at the best price. it you are in the area, it is most definitely worth a pop in to see all the cool stuff!
